First-Time Usage

Welcome to the Hebrew Bible Reader! You can select a book, chapter, and read verses in original Hebrew.

You can search for expressions in the Bible using the search bar, and navigate between chapters using the "Previous Chapter" and "Next Chapter" buttons.

The system remembers the last position you read, and will open there the next time you access the page.

The Hebrew Bible Reader was developed as a non-profit project to make the Bible accessible to a wide audience in a convenient and easy-to-use format. The software allows you to read verses in English, search the Bible, and navigate between chapters. The software does not collect personal information about users, and the details required for its operation are stored locally exclusively on the users' devices.

The software works with algorithms developed independently and is based on information from the Sefaria project. The original code is available on GitHub. For more details, see the privacy policy.
