Timluly is designed with privacy in mind. The app performs transcription locally on your Mac and does not require an internet connection for transcription.
Timluly does not collect, store, transmit, or sell personal information.
We do not collect analytics, usage data, account information, advertising identifiers, or the contents of files processed by the app.
Videos selected for transcription are processed locally on your device.
Timluly does not upload your videos, audio, or transcripts to our servers or to a third-party transcription service.
Transcripts are only saved when you choose to save them.
Timluly uses technology based on the open-source Whisper speech recognition project and a Whisper model included with the application.
The Whisper model is executed locally on your Mac. Audio is not sent to OpenAI or another external service for transcription.
Automated speech recognition may produce incorrect, incomplete, or misleading transcriptions.
Timluly is not a professional transcription service and does not provide human review. You are responsible for reviewing transcription results before relying on them, especially for medical, legal, academic, financial, or other important purposes.
Timluly is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind regarding accuracy, reliability, availability, or fitness for a particular purpose.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the developer is not liable for losses, damages, or consequences resulting from the use of the app or reliance on its transcription output.
Timluly does not use third-party advertising, analytics, or cloud transcription services as part of its transcription process.
